REVIEW PROCESS

At IOASD Publisher, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and integrity in all the materials we publish. Our review process ensures that every article, book, or manuscript undergoes a thorough, rigorous, and unbiased evaluation to meet the expectations of scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. Below is an outline of the key stages in our review process:

  1. Submission and Initial Evaluation Upon submission, manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team to ensure they meet the basic guidelines and scope of the journal or book series. The team checks for alignment with the journal’s themes, originality, and adherence to formatting requirements. If the submission passes this initial evaluation, it moves on to the next stage.
  2. Peer Review Our peer review process is designed to ensure that all published work is of the highest academic standard. Each manuscript is sent to at least two expert reviewers who are specialists in the subject area of the submission. Reviewers assess the quality, validity, and significance of the research, providing feedback on aspects such as methodology, analysis, literature review, and clarity of writing. Reviewers are asked to evaluate:
  • The originality and contribution of the research.
  • The soundness of the methodology and research design.
  • The clarity and comprehensiveness of the presentation.
  • The relevance and accuracy of the conclusions drawn.

The peer review process is typically double-blind, meaning both the authors and reviewers are anonymized to ensure impartiality.

  1. Decision and Feedback After the peer review process, the editorial team carefully considers the feedback provided by the reviewers. Based on their recommendations, one of the following decisions will be made:

Accept:
If the manuscript meets the required standards, it will be accepted for publication.

Minor Revisions: If the manuscript requires some revisions for improvement, the authors will be asked to make the necessary changes and resubmit.

Major Revisions: If substantial changes are needed, the authors will be given detailed feedback and an opportunity to revise the manuscript accordingly.

Reject: If the manuscript does not meet the necessary standards, or if the revisions do not address the reviewers’ concerns, the manuscript may be rejected.

Authors are provided with constructive and detailed feedback from the reviewers to guide their revisions or to explain the rationale behind the decision.

  1. Revisions and Resubmission For manuscripts requiring revisions, authors are given a specific timeline to address the reviewers’ comments and resubmit their work. The revised manuscript will go through the review process again, typically focusing on the changes made in response to the feedback. In some cases, additional rounds of revisions may be required.
  2. Final Acceptance and Publication Once a manuscript is accepted after peer review and revisions, it undergoes final proofreading and copy-editing to ensure it meets the publisher’s quality standards. The manuscript is then prepared for publication in the journal or as part of the book series. Authors are notified about the publication schedule and are provided with proofs for final approval.
  3. Post-Publication Review Following publication, all articles and books are available for ongoing engagement and feedback from the academic community. Readers and researchers can submit letters to the editor or comments on published works, which are reviewed and considered for publication in subsequent issues or volumes.

At IOASD Publisher, we strive to maintain transparency and integrity in the review process, ensuring that all published works contribute meaningfully to the academic and professional community.
