COPYRIGHT POLICY

At IOASD Publisher, we uphold the highest standards of intellectual property rights and copyright protection. Our Copyright Policy is designed to ensure that the authors’ work is properly protected, that proper credit is given to original authors, and that all legal requirements regarding the use of copyrighted materials are met. The policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and contributors who submit manuscripts or other materials for publication in our journals and books.

Copyright Ownership

Author Retention of Copyright: Authors retain copyright to their work upon submission to IOASD Publisher. However, by submitting a manuscript for publication, authors grant IOASD Publisher a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and promote their work in any format, including digital and print.

License to Publish: Authors give IOASD Publisher the right to publish the manuscript and allow it to be accessible worldwide through our journals or books. This license includes the right to distribute the work through our website, indexing services, and other platforms as deemed appropriate.

Rights and Responsibilities of Authors

Exclusive Distribution Rights: Authors agree to provide IOASD Publisher with exclusive rights to distribute their work in the agreed format(s) for the duration of the publication.

Reuse and Reproduction: Authors may reuse their published work for educational and non-commercial purposes, such as posting on their personal or institutional websites, after the article has been published. However, they must acknowledge the original publication and follow any conditions set by the publisher.

Permission for Third-Party Materials: If the manuscript includes third-party materials (such as images, tables, or text excerpts), the authors are responsible for obtaining proper permissions to use these materials and for citing the original sources accordingly.

Open Access Policy

IOASD Publisher offers an open-access model for its publications, making articles freely available to the global research community. Authors who publish in our open-access journals or books are required to grant IOASD Publisher the right to make their works publicly available through open access.

Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement

IOASD Publisher has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and copyright infringement. Any manuscript that contains plagiarized content, or violates copyright laws (including the unauthorized use of third-party materials), will be rejected or retracted, and the authors will be held responsible for any legal consequences arising from such violations.

Authors must ensure that all references and citations are appropriately acknowledged, and that no content is copied from other sources without proper citation.

Copyright Infringement Claims

Notification of Copyright Infringement: If any third party believes that their copyright has been infringed upon by content published by IOASD Publisher, they may submit a formal complaint. IOASD Publisher will review the claim, and if valid, the infringing content will be removed or corrected in accordance with applicable copyright laws.

Procedure for Complaints: Claims of copyright infringement should be directed to IOASD Publisher’s legal department or designated copyright officer, with clear details of the alleged infringement and supporting documentation.

Authors or third parties who wish to reuse or reproduce content from IOASD Publisher’s publications must obtain permission from the publisher. This includes reproducing articles, chapters, images, or tables in other publications, websites, or any form of distribution.
